Come into the beauty of the redwoods and rediscover the joy of nature.
Let us guide you on a gentle and uplifting exploration through the old-growth redwood loop using all your senses. We will call on the elements Earth, Air, Fire, and Water to bring us to a new understanding of the aliveness and interconnectedness of the natural world. Together, we’ll move at a relaxed pace, pausing to take in the magic of the redwood forest through light activities, hands-on exploration, and an interactive song inspired by Coleen’s love for the forest.
This is not about going far—it's about going deep. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, connected, and inspired, with simple tools to enjoy the connection and power of nature on your own.
This gentle, experiential program is for seniors who have a mobility or physical challenges. Participants will explore the Redwood Loop which is a flat, wide and smooth trail. Wheelchairs, walkers meant to travel outdoors, canes, or walking poles can work well. We will walk a total of about ½ to 1 mile, alternating between periods of movement and standing. Caregivers are welcome to attend and must also register.
We will meet on the sidewalk outside the Nature Store adjacent to the main parking lot. Group size is limited to ensure a quality experience and advance registration is required. Those who register will receive more detailed directions and information via email.
