FELTON, Calif.— Mountain Parks Foundation’s (MPF) Nature Store at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park reopens Monday, June 1! The Nature Store will be open daily from 11am to 3pm in June. With new COVID-19 safety procedures in place, you can once again visit for one-of-a-kind souvenirs including life-like banana slug magnets, a wide selection of books for readers of all ages, hand-crafted artwork from local artisans, nature themed apparel, and tasty snacks like Marianne’s Ice Cream sandwiches.

The safety and well-being of volunteers and visitors remains the highest priority. Mountain Parks Foundation and California State Parks want everyone's experience in the park and store to be positive and worry-free. Therefore, some new store policies have been implemented:

  • 10 visitor maximum occupancy

  • Masks required

  • Social distancing of 6 feet

Shopping at the Nature Store directly supports Henry Cowell and Big Basin Redwood State Parks, and helps Mountain Parks Foundation continue to support educational experiences and interpretive programs at both parks. Funds from the Nature Store stay local, so visit soon to see all the great items available!
