The Partners program at Mountain Parks Foundation supports efforts of both the preservation needs of Henry Cowell and Big Basin Redwoods State Parks and the educational needs of the visitors at our parks.  Simultaneously, it provides you with tools to enhance your enjoyment and support of the educational activities at Henry Cowell and Big Basin.

The Mountain Parks Partners program is for those supporters whose donations total $250, $500, $1000 or more annually.
$250 of annual support receives:

• A gourmet Partners’ picnic on Saturday, June 13th featuring State Park leaders
• Presentation by Robert & Fred McPherson aboutthe life of the Pacific-slope Flycatcher.
• Expert-led walks in Henry Cowell and/or Big Basin

$500 of annual support receives all of the above, plus:   

• Two tickets to the 2009 Mountain Park Foundation Lobster Feed
• A $50 gift certificate to the Mountain Parks Nature Store.

$1000 of annual support receives all of the above, plus:

• One annual California State Park Golden Poppy annual day-use Parking Pass
• An after-hour tour of the elephant seals at Año Nuevo State Reserve

Projects:

• Creating the Sandhills Visitors Center in the Henry Cowell Campground
• Renovating the benches at the Big Basin Campfire Center. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps 70 years ago, the Center is overdue for major refurbishing.
• Updating signage at Henry Cowell and Big Basin Redwoods State Parks
