Hiking in Big Basin Redwoods State Park

Distances are from Park Headquarters and are approximate. Times are based on an average pace of 2 miles per hour.

 

Dogs are allowed, on leash, in campgrounds, picnic areas and the North Escape Road. Dogs are not permitted on trails or fireroads.

 

Bicycles are allowed on paved and dirt roads only, not on trails.

 

Horses are allowed only on trails that are marked with the horseshoe symbol.
