Preserving the legacy of our Redwood forests Since 1973, Mountain Parks Foundation, a non-governmental, 501(c)(3) charitable not-for-profit organization has been dedicated to supporting programs that enhance the experience of park visitors. How are you connected with State parks? We contract with California State Parks and Recreation. How much money do you get from State parks? None.  Where do you get your funding? Proceeds from the Foundation’s Nature Stores, donors, special events and foundations. How can I get involved?
